"As many of us complain when things go wrong, I like to praise when I think it is due.

My elderly mother needed a fridge and freezer to replace integrated appliances. The knowledgeable and friendly staff at Anglian Electrics sent a chap round to measure up (no charge) and arranged free delivery.

The cheerful delivery chaps reufused the easy option of parking on the grass outside mum's bungalow and parked in the allotted space where they had to bring the goods up a long, winding, gravel driveway path (no easy task!). This was done to minimise any mess. They then dismantled the old appliances, fitted the new ones and took away all the packaging. The only charge was a nominal fee to dispose of the old fridge and freezer. 

I think we are extremely lucky to have Anglian Electrics on the island, where the prices are competitive and the service exceptional."

"I just had to write and express appreciation of Anglian Electrics on Mersea Island. They come up trumps time after time.

When my washing machine finally gave up the will to live, I went round all the out-of-town superstores in search of a replacement. Not only was I overwhelmed with the sheer vastness of the shops, I was disappointed at the robotic, disinterested attitude of the sales staff, and struck with disbelief that I would have to wait two weeks, and pay £20, for delivery of a machine that was in stock!

I went to Anglian Electrics, they had the model I was looking for, it was £10 cheaper than I'd seen elsewhere, they delivered it for free within two days of my purchase, and for a very modest fee plumbed it in and removed the old machine.

I have since purchased telephones, a fridge-freezer, and a couple of small appliances. The prices are always excellent, the staff are helpful, knowledgeable and courteous and in future they will always be my first port of call.
